Why We Built This Site

Tennessee permits public access to many court records, yet Giles County has no official public trial-level search portal. Natalie Bass Oakley, the Circuit Court Clerk, keeps Circuit, General Sessions, Juvenile, and Traffic dockets. Crystal Gibson Greene, the Clerk & Master, keeps Chancery decisions and files. Municipal clerks retain city matters, while Archives holds much older material. Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
